Our Story

Located in the heart of the buzzing and vibrant market town of Frome, which is known for its eclectic and popular monthly markets. The Iron Gates is a unique boutique shopping experience. 

This Grade II* listed building, also known as The Old Pet Shop, is steeped in nostalgic memories and an extensive restoration has now brought it back to the former glory that it once saw at it’s conception in the 1700s, with many original features reinstated and restored. 

The Iron Gates is now a community of some of Frome’s finest makers and artists where you can find a range of beautiful homewares and hand crafted jewellery.
